Antique Victorian Citrine & Emerald Ring in 15 Carat Gold

A wonderfully unusual Victorian ring, dating to 1891 and brought back to life with a fresh new chapter in its long history.

Created in rich 15 carat gold, the ring is designed with three panels across the top in a classic Victorian trilogy arrangement. At the centre sits a glowing cabochon emerald, its rich green hue providing a beautiful focal point. Flanking the emerald to either side are smooth cabochon citrines.

When we acquired the ring, the side stones were missing, leaving the mount incomplete. Rather than attempting a conventional restoration, we carefully selected citrines that complemented the central emerald and the overall aesthetic of the piece. In doing so, we have given the ring a new lease of life while creating something genuinely unique.

This thoughtful restoration celebrates both the ring's Victorian origins and its continued journey through time. The result is a jewel that feels fresh while retaining all the charm of the original antique setting.
