A beautiful example of early Victorian design, this striking ring showcases a vibrant coloured cushion cut citrine in a distinctive period setting. Created in 9 carat yellow gold, the mount features a triple band and sculptural shoulders that rise gracefully to meet the stone. A style characteristic of the transition from the late Georgian to early Victorian era.

The citrine itself is particularly eye catching: a large, cushion-shaped gem with broad, lively facets that dance with light and fire. Its vibrant golden hue is full of warmth and life, perfectly complemented by the soft glow of antique gold. Such stones were highly prized in the 1830s and 1840s for their sunny colour and symbolic associations with joy and abundance.

This ring captures the aesthetic period, combining sculptural gold work, historical design details, and a gemstone of exceptional presence. It is a piece that wears beautifully today, as radiant and timeless as it was nearly two centuries ago.
