A charming late Georgian floral pansy ring, rich in symbolism and timeless beauty.

Created in 9 carat gold, the ring is designed as a pansy in bloom, with its petals formed from pear cut green paste stones. The moody green stones catch the light beautifully, creating a fresh and delicate floral display.

The pansy was one of the most meaningful flowers in Georgian and Victorian jewellery. Its name derives from the French pensée, meaning 'thought' and it became a cherished symbol of loving remembrance and affection. Floral jewels such as this were often exchanged as heartfelt tokens between loved ones.

A wonderfully symbolic antique ring, combining romantic floral design with the enduring charm of Georgian jewellery. A delightful keepsake with over two centuries of history.
