Antique Amethyst Intaglio 'A' Ring in 9 Carat Gold; Circa 1890

A simple yet sublime ring. this antique jewel has been created in beautifully warm rose hued 9 carat gold and centred with a rich oval amethyst with an extra touch. 

The stone is held within a classic bezel setting, allowing the purple of the amethyst to take centre stage. Hand engraved into its surface is a single letter ‘A’, beautifully rendered in a subtle Gothic style font.

There is something particularly lovely about the simplicity of the design. The warm rose gold, rich purple stone and understated initial feel personal and still very much relevant.
