Delightfully understated yet wonderfully characterful, this charming antique bar brooch was created around 1900 and captures the elegance so often found in turn of the century jewellery.

A warm 9 carat gold timeless bar is adorned with the most enchanting leaping trout made from 15 carat gold. The fish has been beautifully brought to life with hand painted iridescent enamel. Its shimmering tones catching the light to recreate the natural lustre of scales beneath flowing water. The delicacy of the enamelling gives the trout a remarkable sense of movement.

Elegant in its simplicity and exceptional in its craftsmanship. This is a piece that balances subtlety with life like elegance. A perfect addition for collectors of antique enamel jewellery, sporting motifs, or anyone who appreciates beautifully made, wearable antiques.
