A charming and tactile antique swivel fob set in warm 9 carat yellow gold. On one side we have a bloodstone intaglio which is engraved with a double headed eagle, a historic emblem associated with strength and power. Below this is an accompanying motto “Spes Mea Deus,” meaning “God is my hope.” The reverse features a plain bloodstone, perfect for personal engraving or left as a contrasting, understated counterpart to the detailed face.
A lovely example of symbolic 19th century design, offering both elegance and meaning in a wearable, versatile piece. Ideal suspended from a chain, worn as a pendant, or added to a charm collection.
