What an amazing jewel and true treasure, this extraordinary ring would make an amazing addition to anyones jewellery collection. An antique beauty dating to the Victorian era and filled with charm.

The most beautiful feature of this jewel is carved carnelian. With a distinctive burnt orange hue and lighter natural banded top layer the surface has been hand carved with the initials G and N (and possibly a little c). The letters following into one another in the distinctive gothic font.

The mount is a heavier and timeless signet ring design. Created in 18 carat gold, this is a a wonderful example of a victorian intaglio signet ring and would have a been deeply treasured.

The use of the gold perfectly pairs the warm carnelian colouring of the intaglio. Sentimental intaglios such are becoming rarer and hard to find, they are much sort after and its not hard to see why! A true treasure.
