A handsome Victorian signet ring dating to 1883. This substantial ring has been created in crisp fresh silver.

The ring is centred with a polished carnelian, its rich warm orange red tone sitting beautifully against the cool glow of the silver. The stone has been left smooth allowing the natural colour to take centre stage.

What makes this ring particularly special, however, are the shoulders. Each side has been hand engraved with delicate floral and leafy designs, adding an unexpected softness to what would otherwise be a classic signet form.

Over 140 years old, it has all the charm of a well loved Victorian jewel, with its polished carnelian, softly aged silver and finely worked engraving coming together to create a piece full of history and character.
