Antique Toujours A Toi (Always Yours) Bracelet

A beautiful and highly sought after Edwardian motto bracelet, rich in romance and timeless sentimental meaning. 

Created in 9 carat gold, the bracelet is formed from two delicate trace chains, between which the words 'Toujours A Toi' are displayed in formed gold lettering.

Translated from French, 'Toujours A Toi' means Always Yours, a wonderfully romantic sentiment as relevant today as it was over 120 plus years ago. While motto jewellery is always desirable, this is a more unusual phrase, making the bracelet particularly special.

The bracelet fastens with a bold clasp, set with a single turquoise, whose vibrant blue hue provides a delicate pop of colour against the warm gold. Turquoise was a much loved gemstone of the era, often associated with affection  and faithful love.

Elegant, lightweight, and full of sentiment  this is a wonderful example of Edwardian love token jewellery. A piece that is as meaningful today as it was over a century ago.
