A charming vintage signet ring, created in 1945 and full of character and personal history.
Created in 9 carat rose gold, the ring has a wonderfully soft hue that complements its traditional design beautifully. The front panel is engraved with a seated deer. The carving is rich in detail, though over the decades the ring has been lovingly worn, softening some of the finer features. Rather than detracting from the piece, this wear speaks to a life well loved.
Perhaps the most touching detail lies to the reverse, where we find a personal engraving 'MJ 20.7.46'. Added just a year after the ring's creation, this inscription offers a glimpse into the story of the person who once wore it. Whether marking an anniversary or significant event, it transforms the ring from a beautiful object into a piece of someone's history.
