Antique Curb Chain Ring in Silver; Circa 1880

A always sought after full curb chain ring. this tactile piece has been created entirely in sterling silver from an antique heavy curb chain and is remarkably striking. 

Rather than being cast as a solid ring, the design has been formed from individual antique curb chain links, creating an incredibly tactile piece with lots of movement. Each link moves naturally against the next, giving the ring a satisfying weight and fluidity on the hand.

One of the loveliest details is that each individual link bears the traditional lion passant silver mark. These tiny hallmarks become part of the design, repeated link after link around the entire ring, offering a beautiful reminder of the age and original craftsmanship of the chain from which it was created.

CONDITION: This is in lovely antique condition. As can be seen there is a fair level of enamel loss around the band
