Antique Victorian Enamel 'Baby' Ring in 10 Carat gold

A deeply sentimental Victorian ring. Dating to the late 1800's its is still ever bit as charming today as it was when it was first worn. 

Created in 10 carat gold, the ring features beautifully detailed shoulders that frame the front panel with elegant period charm. At the centre, the ring is decorated in rich blue enamel surrounding the word 'Baby'. Sweet and personal the piece was most likely created as a token connected to birth. Victorian jewellery often carrying deeply emotional meanings beneath even the simplest designs.

The baby blue enamel contrasts beautifully against the warm tone of the gold, while the softened wear acquired through time only adds to its gentle antique character.
