Antique Edwardian Diamond Cluster Ring in 9 Carat Gold; circa 1900

A truly spectacular Edwardian diamond ring!  With an unusual asymmetrical cluster design that feels almost like a little burst of antique light this antique ring is a unique treasure full of personality. 

The design centres around a larger old cut diamond at the base, above which sits a smaller stone, surrounded by a beautiful fan of old cut diamonds that radiate outwards. The arrangement is wonderfully distinctive, with a sense of movement and natural flourish that sets it apart from a traditional cluster. Almost belle époque in feel the arrangement speaks to the changing aesthetic of the era. 

Each diamond has been hand cut, giving the stones their own individual character and the romantic sparkle that makes antique diamonds so sort after. Their facets catch the light in a way that feels softer and more sophisticated than modern brilliant cuts.

CONDITION: The ring is in good antique condition with a fine patina over the diamonds and gold/silver.
