A remarkable ring filled with love and sentimental remembrance. Though the exact details of who this was worn for have been lost in time the love can still be appreciated.

Created in super buttery 18 carat gold this mounting ring has been adorned with five graduating diamonds within a floral motif. All around this are traces of deep black enamel work as well as engraved decorations. The diamonds are all old cut making them unique and beautifully sparkly; especially contrasting against the warmth of the band.

Within the ring we have traces of a dedication which reads 'Obt Feb 7th 1872 Act 49'. Unfortunately the name has been lost when this has been historically sized. This would have been worn and perished by a loved one hoping to keep something of them alive with them everyday.

The ring has a rich and heavy feel on the hand making it wonderfully tactile.  A remarkable and historical ring.
