Antique Rose Cut Diamond Drop Earrings

A beautiful pair of antique diamond drop earrings. Dating to around 1900 and full of character and antique sparkle.

Designed as elegant drops, the earrings possess a wonderfully graceful movement when worn. We believe they may have originally begun life as part of a larger piece of antique jewellery before being adapted into earrings later in their history. Such conversions were common throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries, allowing treasured jewels to continue to be worn and enjoyed as fashions evolved.

Each earring is set with a row of rose cut diamonds, mounted within beautifully ornate silver and gold settings that showcase the craftsmanship of the period. The rose cuts have a distinctive charm, their hand cut facets creating a romantic shimmer rather than the sharp brilliance of modern diamonds.
