Antique Full Eternity Chrysoprase Band in 9 Carat Gold; Circa 1880

A striking and tactile antique ring. Dating to the late 1800s this is a timeless and sort after design found through out jewellery history. 

The ring has a super wide 8mm 9 carat gold domed band. this has been completely encircled by a full eternity of cabochon chrysoprase stones. Their smooth, rounded surfaces give the ring an almost tactile, pebble like quality, while the fresh green of the chrysoprase brings a wonderful sense of colour.

There is something particularly captivating about the overall design. The combination of the broad domed gold band and rows of smooth green stones has an almost ancient quality, reminiscent of jewellery from much earlier civilisations, yet the simplicity of the form means it could just as easily be mistaken for a beautifully considered modern design.

Bold without being fussy, tactile without being heavy handed, and endlessly wearable. A ring with real presence and character.
