Antique Garnet & Enamel Ring in 9 Carat Gold; Circa 1910

A lovely and petite Edwardian ring created in the very early 1900s with a darling oval panel. The design is simple and beautifully characteristic of the period, with a fine blue enamel border framing a small, glowing garnet at the bottom.

There is something particularly charming about its proportions. A tiny jewel designed to be worn and enjoyed every day, with just enough colour and detail to catch the eye. The rich red of the garnet sits beautifully against the cool blue enamel and warm 9 carat gold mount. A lovely combination of features. 

A note on the setting: the central panel is quite shallow, meaning the tip of the garnet can be felt slightly from the reverse of the ring. This is more noticeable when worn on a tighter fitting finger, and we would therefore recommend allowing a little room when choosing the best finger for it. This is part of the original construction but we always like to mention details so the ring can be enjoyed with full knowledge of its character.

CONDITION: This is in lovely antique condition with a fine wear to both the gold, garnet and enamel. There is a possibly historical sizing.
