Antique Quatrefoil Rose Cut Diamond Ring; Circa 1900

A beautifully crafted antique ring dating to the early 20th century, designed in the romantic spirit of 18th century Georgian jewellery. A testament to its timeless allure! 

The ring is formed as an elegant quatrefoil cluster, a motif beloved in Georgian design. Set throughout with rose cut diamonds, the piece has a soft, glowing brilliance. The kind of gentle sparkle that comes alive in low, intimate light. At the centre are five larger rose cut diamonds, each framed by a delicate crescent of smaller accent stones, creating a layered feel. 

In keeping with traditional techniques, the diamonds are set in silver to heighten their brightness, while the band itself is crafted in gold and finely engraved, adding texture and refinement to the design.

An especially intriguing feature lies in the band, where two tiny holes appear on each side. These are original to the piece and part of its design rather than later wear. An unusual detail that adds to the ring’s individuality and quiet intrigue.
