Steeped in Victorian symbolism, this handsome silver tie pin is a wonderfully detailed example of nineteenth century craftsmanship. Dating to the mid Victorian period, it combines elegant simplicity with one of the era's most enduring and meaningful motifs; the serpent.
Created in crisp silver, the slender pin terminates in a beautifully modelled coiled snake. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the finely textured scales that wrap around its body to its tightly coiled form, giving the little creature a wonderful sense of life and movement.
