Antique Victorian Bloodstone Spinning Fob Pendant

A classic and wonderfully wearable Victorian spinning fob pendant, elegant in its simplicity and rich in antique feel.

Created in 9 carat gold, the pendant features a graceful flowing mount suspending a round bloodstone spinner. The smooth movement of the rotating panel gives the piece a lovely tactile quality, typical of Victorian fob designs originally intended to be handled and admired as much as worn.

One side of the bloodstone has been left plain, allowing the deep green tones and natural markings of the stone to speak for themselves. The reverse is engraved with a highly stylised monogram of intertwined initials.

The contrast between the polished simplicity of one side and the ornate engraving of the other gives the pendant a wonderful balance. Elegant and tactile this is a lovely antique piece with enduring appeal and quiet sophistication.
