A classic and versatile antique gold safety pin. A sublime combination of buttery warm gold and a vibrant rich emerald stone.

The pin has a classic, understated form, with the top finished with a glowing cabochon emerald nestled within an elegant swirl of gold. The smooth, domed emerald has a lovely depth of colour, providing just the right touch of richness against the warm gold. though there is the subtlest of nibble to one edge, no love and beauty has been lost.

Safety pins such as this were incredibly versatile jewels and are worn in numerous ways. As a brooch, tie or scarf pin, chain extender, or even as a pendant in their own right. Their practical design made them particularly useful within an antique jewellery collection, allowing the wearer to adapt and repurpose them according to the occasion.
