A rare find, this antique ring is a luxurious and gorgeous jewel of full character! We adore the defined and detailed intaglio image which has been expertly carved into a fabulous agate stone. A true work of art.
The main eye catching element of this Victorian ring is that central shield intaglio. Carved into a banded agate, we have the letters H H. An ornate font has been used which is perfect for the Victorian era.
The intaglio is set within an oval 9 carat gold mount which perfectly complements the stone. Flowing and engraving shoulders are pure Victorian in style. There is just wonderful detail to be seen and appreciated in this ring.
Dating to the Victorian era we think this is one of the most unusual and special rings we have sourced. A true collectors piece!

Intaglio signet surface: 8 mm x 9 mm approximately
HALLMARKING: unhallamrked 9 carat gold
CONDITION: the ring is in good antique condition. As can be seen in the pictures and video there is a historical sizing at the back of the band and it has been loved. There is an overall patina to the gold and agate.
