A beautiful and slightly unusual Victorian diamond cluster ring, dating to around 1880 and created in rich 18 carat gold.

Designed in the classic cluster formation so beloved in the late 19th century, the ring centres on a sparkling arrangement of rose cut diamonds. Unlike many examples of the period, this piece is different for its distinctive outer stones. Cut in triangular forms, creating a wonderfully dynamic outline and adding subtle variation to the traditional circular cluster design.

The rose cut diamonds shimmer with a soft, romantic light, their flat bases and faceted domes reflecting a gentle glow reminiscent of candlelight. Exactly as they would have appeared when first worn in the Victorian era. The warm tone of the 18 carat gold setting enhances their delicate sparkle, creating a timeless aesthetic.

Elegant yet characterful, this is a refined Victorian jewel with a characterful edge. A rare variation on a classic design, perfect for collectors or as a distinctive antique engagement ring.
