Antique Monogram 'B' Agate Locket Swivel Fob

A wonderful Victorian swivel fob pendant, combining practicality, sentiment, and timeless design.

Created in 9 carat gold and base metal fittings the pendant features a classic rotating fob design set with two contrasting. To the front is a rich oval carnelian, warmly toned and finely hand engraved with the letter 'B' in gothic font.  The reverse is formed from deep green bloodstone, creating a striking contrast in both colour and texture.

What makes this piece especially charming is its hidden secret. The fob opens to reveal a small internal locket compartment. This delightful feature transforms the piece from a simple pendant into something personal and intriguing. Once intended to hold a tiny keepsake, lock of hair, or treasured memento close to the wearer.

Condition: This is overall lovely antique condition with only a fine patina over the agates and gold. The clasp on the locket has a crisp click making perfect to use.
