Victorian Smoky Quartz & Silver Gilt Beetle Pendant; Circa 19th Century

A captivating Victorian pendant, set with a faceted smoky quartz stone of warm, moody hue. Perched upon its surface rests a beautifully detailed beetle, intricately modelled with silver legs and antennae, and suspended from a silver gilt bail.
