Antique Victorian Silver Snake Ring; Circa 1879

A wonderfully tactile and characterful Victorian ring dating to 1879, beautifully designed as two entwined serpents coiling around the finger. CONDITION: Overall in good condition commensurate with the age of the ring, with just a fine patina of wear all over the ring. There is a historical sizing and repair which can be seen on the inside. As noted above there was once a gold wash over the ring which has mostly worn away leaving a lovely patina.
