A truly remarkable and romantic piece of Victorian jewellery, this heart-shaped locket is steeped in history and sentiment. Crafted in 9 carat gold (front and back) , its surface bears elegant hand engraved initials AVD to the front and DVC to the reverse. This wonderful touch offering a personal glimpse into its victorian era origins.
What sets this locket apart is the rare and beautiful detail of a single rose cut heart shape diamond in a clawset mount at the centre of the heart. The diamond’s old world faceting catches the light in a soft, ethereal sparkle, a perfect symbol of enduring love.
The locket opens to reveal space for keepsakes or photographs, allowing it to continue its story as a vessel of memory.
