Antique Sapphire Heart Cluster Ring; Circa 1890

A romantic Victorian ring. Created in rich 18 carat gold and designed as an enchanting crown topped heart.

At the centre is a beautifully deep blue pear cut sapphire, surrounded by a delicate halo of creamy pearls. Rising above the cluster is a charming little crown, set with further pearls and a sparkling diamond, giving the whole design the appearance of a heart surmounted by a crown.

The rich blue sapphire provides a beautiful focal point, contrasting against the soft lustre of the pearls and warm glow of the 18 carat gold.  A beautiful and highly symbolic Victorian jewel, full of colour, sentiment and old world romance. As timeless as ever.
