A sublime and detailed late Victorian snake ring. Created in 9 carat gold and full of timeless symbolism, this ring is as magical today as it was over 120 year ago!

Designed as a single coiled serpent, the ring wraps around the finger, its body finely detailed with engraved scales that give it a wonderfully tactile feel. The serpent's head is adorned with a single hand cut diamond.

Snake jewellery became one of the defining motifs of the Victorian era after Queen Victoria's engagement ring, presented by Prince Albert in 1839, took the form of a serpent. Symbolising eternal love, fidelity, and everlasting life, the snake became one of the most cherished and enduring sentimental designs of the 19th century.

With its warm gold, graceful proportions, and delicate antique diamond, this ring perfectly captures the romance and symbolism of the Victorian period.
