A striking and rather unusual antique five stone ring. Dated to 1912 it offers a refreshing twist on a classic design, something you would not ordinarily see.

Created in rich 15 carat gold, the ring is designed in the traditional five stone setting. Rather than the expected diamonds or coloured gemstones, this example has been set with five cabochon banded agates, making it an exceptionally distinctive piece.

Each agate displays its own unique natural banding, with soft layers and earthy tones that create beautiful individuality. The smooth cabochon finish enhances the organic beauty of the stones, while the warm gold mount complements their natural colours perfectly. It's also so striking how they have been match in their orientation of the banding.

A rare and characterful antique ring, perfect for those seeking something a little different. A combination of classic design, natural gemstones, and over a century of history.
