A wonderfully lifelike antique pansy pendant. Recreated in 14 carat gold and full of playful charm.

The pendant has been expertly modelled as a fully bloomed pansy, its petals adorned with hand painted enamel in rich shades that beautifully capture the natural colours and velvety texture of the flower. The artistry is exceptional, giving the piece a true sense realism.

At the heart of the flower sits a single old cut diamond, adding a soft antique sparkle and drawing the eye to the centre of the bloom. Almost like a small drop of morning dew.

The pansy held special significance in Victorian and Edwardian jewellery. Its name derives from the French pensée, meaning thought and it became a cherished symbol of loving affection. As such, pansy jewellery was often exchanged as a heartfelt token between loved ones.
