A wonderfully characterful Victorian silver ring, rich in symbolism, bearing a timeless message of hope and protection.

The band is decorated with the words “GOOD” and “LUCK”, set to either side of a central horse motif. An image long associated with freedom and good fortune. In the Victorian era, horses were powerful talismans, symbolising endurance and safe journeys, making this a deeply meaningful and sentimental jewel.

Over time, and through generations of love and wear, some of the finer edges of the engraving have softened. Rather than detracting, this gentle smoothing speaks to the ring’s long life and personal history. The design remains clear and legible, and no charm or character has been lost. Maybe even gained.

Simple, evocative and full of quiet symbolism, this Victorian ring is a beautiful reminder of the era’s affection for jewellery that carried messages close to the skin. A truly wearable token of luck, history and enduring sentiment.
