The top of the fob is sculpted as a finely modelled three dimensional bird, complete with delicately defined feathers and lifelike details. The main body continues this attention to detail, with applied leaf motifs around the edge in contrasting gold tones, demonstrating the Georgian love of texture, form, and subtle colour variation.
