Antique Edwardian Ruby & Diamond Bangle; Circa 1902

A timeless Edwardian bangle that would be an amazing stacking or solo piece. Hallmarked for Chester in 1902 this beautifully crafted piece has been made in 9 carat gold and studded with jewels.

Rich in period charm, the bangle showcases the classic late Victorian and Edwardian aesthetic, with delicate engraved details and decoration throughout. Nestled amongst the design are star set rubies and old cut diamonds, adding subtle flashes of colour and sparkle.

A particularly desirable feature is its smaller wrist size, something that is becoming increasingly difficult to find in bangles from this period. Elegant and effortlessly wearable, this is a beautiful Edwardian jewel that perfectly captures the craftsmanship and romance of the early 20th century.

ERA: Edwardian 1902 

MEASUREMENTS: Width when closed 55 x 45mm approx, this is on the narrower side in the context of antique bangles. The bangle opens with a hinge and has a safely chain so it doesn't complement open meaning it has to be slipped on. 

WEIGHT: 7.1 grams approximately  

HALLMARKING: Hallmarked 9 Carat Gold

CONDITION: As can be seen this angle is in fair condition of the age. There is a little dent near the hinge which has subtly opened the bangle on the edge. There is also a small gold detail missing from the front panel decoration - the highly ornate design make this subtle to see.
