Antique Topaz & Diamond Cluster Ring in 18 Carat Gold

A substantial antique dress ring, full of warmth and undeniable glamour. 

At the heart of the ring sits a magnificent cushion cut topaz, glowing with rich amber, orange, and warm brown tones that shift beautifully in the light. The stone has exceptional depth and colour, giving the ring a dramatic and luxurious appearance that immediately draws the eye.

Surrounding the topaz is a halo style cluster of diamonds, their bright sparkle providing the perfect contrast to the warmth of the central stone. The diamonds frame the topaz beautifully, enhancing both its scale and brilliance. We especially adore that the five point claw set diamonds appears as stars dancing around the topaz!

The ring is created in rich 18 carat gold, with plain tapered shoulders and a polished shank that allow the impressive cluster to remain the true focal point. The simplicity of the mount balances the boldness of the stones perfectly.

There is a wonderful presence to this piece. The combination of the substantial setting and the vivid colouring of the topaz gives it real impact on the hand. It feels every bit the classic statement dress ring.

Condition: This is overall lovely antique condition with only a fine patina of wear to the stones and gold in line with its age. The stone is closed back so there is some clouding against the gold backing. Inside the band at the back has a few scratches though these don't affect the wear or comfort.
