Antique Victorian Good Luck Garnet Ring in 18 Carat Gold; Circa 1855

A wonderfully sentimental Victorian ring dating to 1855, created in rich 18 carat gold and designed as a heartfelt token.

This sought after design features the words  GOOD  and LUCK around the band, with a garnet set horseshoe nestled between them. The horseshoe, long regarded as a powerful talisman of protection and prosperity, was especially popular in Victorian jewellery.
