A sentimental Victorian ring, dating to 1899 with one of the most enduring good-luck motifs of the period.
Created in crisp sterling silver at the centre of the ring is a classic horseshoe, accompanied by the motto “GOOD LUCK”. The design is surrounded by decorative detailing, creating a wonderfully ornate and characterful piece.
The combination of the boldly engraved motto, horseshoe and intricate side decoration gives this ring a wonderful sense of Victorian sentiment. Dating from the very end of the nineteenth century, it is also a lovely example of the period’s fascination with jewellery carrying a clear and personal message.
