A superb Victorian signet ring by the renowned makers Deakin & Francis, combining elegant craftsmanship with touching sentimental meaning.

Created in rich 18 carat gold, the ring has a handsome rectangular profile with a refined yet substantial presence on the hand. Set to the centre is a polished bloodstone panel, its deep green surface beautifully contrasted by engraved stylised initials 'IMO'.

We believe these initials most likely stand for 'In Memory Of' suggesting the ring was intended as a subtle mourning piece. Unlike most mourning jewellery, the design is restrained and timeless, allowing the sentiment to remain deeply personal and understated.

Deakin & Francis are celebrated for their long history of fine jewellery and silver craftsmanship, and this ring beautifully reflects the quality and enduring design associated with the firm.
