A beautifully classic antique signet ring dating to 1904, embodying the timeless elegance of the early Edwardian period. Created in warm 9 carat rose gold, the ring has a real presence on the hand, with soft, mellow tones.
Set at the centre is a striking shield shaped bloodstone, its deep green agate flecked with natural crimson inclusions. A stone long associated with protection and courage.
The clean, balanced proportions of the setting allow the stone to take centre stage, resulting in a design that is both understated and enduring. A handsome and versatile antique signet ring, rich in character and history, and a wonderful example of early 20th century craftsmanship.
