Antique Victorian 'Oh' Locket in Silver; Circa 1880

A wonderfully characterful Victorian locket believed to be of Continental origin. This crisp fresh silver locket is as charming today as it was over 120 plus years ago. 

The locket is generously sized and formed in a classic oval shape, giving it a lovely presence when worn. To the front, it has been engraved with the intertwined initials ‘O’ and ‘H’, beautifully completed in an elaborate Late Victorian script font.

The softly aged silver adds to its charm, with the gentle signs of time giving the piece the character and warmth that can only come from a jewel that has travelled through generations. A lovely antique locket with a wonderfully personal feel.

CONDITION: This is in lovely antique condition with a fine patina across the silver with some wear and nibbles as expected. The locket opens and closes securely.
