A charming Victorian sentimental ring and rather sort after design. This historical jewel dates to 1882 and beautifully celebrates one the Victorians love of sentimental jewellery.

Created in 9 carat gold, the ring is designed as a simple graduating band with the raised gold motto "REGARD" displayed across the front. During the Victorian period, motto rings were exchanged as tokens of affection and friendship, with each inscription carrying a heartfelt message. Regard conveyed feelings of admiration and enduring affection. This would have been a deeply meaningful gift between loved ones.

The warm glow of the gold and the gothic raised lettering give the ring a timeless quality, allowing its sentimental message to remain the focal point over 140 years after it was first made. This is an enduring ring of love.
