A wonderfully charming antique pendant, with a unique and distinctly Scottish origin. Super tactile and wearable.
Originally created in 1926 as a gentleman’s button in Scotland, this piece has been carefully converted into a wearable pendant, allowing its craftsmanship and history to be enjoyed in a new way.
Created in silver, the front has been finely hand engraved with a boar, depicted holding a bone in its mouth. A bold and lively motif, often associated with strength, courage, and resilience.
The reverse still retains its full Scottish hallmarks, anchoring the piece firmly in its time and place of origin ensuring its full journey can be appreciated.
With its unusual beginnings, detailed engraving, and historic hallmarks, this is a special antique piece. Perfect for those drawn to Scottish jewellery, animal motifs, or pieces with a story to tell.
