Antique Victorian Diamond Ring in 18 Carat Gold; Circa 1880

A wonderfully timeless Victorian ring, dating to the end of the 1800 it is as enchanting today as it was when it was first made! 

Created in 18 carat gold the ring is a graduating band with a lovely weight and presence on the hand. Across the top are three old cut diamonds, each held within an enchanting star settings.

The three diamonds are set across the band with the larger central stone creating a gentle focal point. Their antique cuts have a lively sparkle so characteristic of Victorian diamonds, beautifully enhanced by the warm glow of the 18 carat gold.

There is something wonderfully classic about the simplicity of this design. The substantial gold band, star set diamonds and softly rounded proportions create a ring that feels both distinctly Victorian and effortlessly timeless.

CONDITION: the ring is in good antique condition with only a fine patina overall. One of the side diamonds has a subtle nibble only seen under a loupe.
