Rich in sentiment and beautifully created. This delightful Victorian pendant is a wonderful example of personal jewellery that defined the nineteenth century.

The pendant is designed as an elegant drop, its front adorned with intricate hand engraving that catches the light. Applied are two forget me not flowers, their petals brought to life with turquoise cabochons. The vivid blue stones provide a striking contrast against the decorated gold, while the flowers themselves carry one of the Victorian era's most cherished messages; to be remembered.

The reverse reveals an oval glazed compartment, traditionally intended to house a lock of hair or keepsake. Today it contains a charming historical photograph of a gentleman. Sentimental and wonderfully evocative, this Victorian pendant is more than simply an antique jewel. It is a wearable piece of history, ready to hold its next cherished memory.
