A wonderful and tactile ring dating as far back as the Georgian era. A token most likely of love from over 200 years ago, this would be a fabulous addition to any jewellery lover‘s collection.
Set at the centre of the ring is a rectangular carnelian stone. Each side has been adorned with a darling engraving. The name ‘Agnes Witts‘ flowing font intaglio style, one name on each side of the stone.
The carnelian is set into a simple 9 carat gold band which allows the stone to be spun around the setting. Its in wonderful antique condition and still can be worn and loved today!

Intaglio signet surface:8mm x 6mm approximately
HALLMARKING: unhallmarked for 9 carat gold
CONDITION: the ring is in lovely antique condition with the expected patina fo wear to the gold and ring. The spinning hinge works well! There is a historical sizing mark at the back of the band
