A darling little Georgian fob, petite in scale but full of sentiment with a vivid intaglio carrying a message of hope.

Created in gilt metal, the fob is set with a rich orange red ntaglioi, hand carved with an anchor and the word ‘HOPE’ . The anchor has long been a symbol of steadfastness, safety and hope, particularly for sailors.

There is something especially charming about these engraved fobs. Originally made to be worn on a watch chain and used as personal seals, they were often chosen for their symbolism as much as their beauty. Today, their petite proportions make them particularly sought after as pendants, allowing these little pieces of history to be worn close to the heart.

A sweet and sentimental Georgian curiosity, with a timeless message and all the character of a jewel that has travelled through generations.
