Victorian Mary Citrine Loose Intaglio

A charming survivor from the victorian era, this citrine intaglio carries not only the beauty of its craftsmanship but also the personal history of its original owner.

Expertly engraved in classic gothic script, the name 'Mary' is carved into the surface with precision and artistry typical of the 19th century. 

The citrine has a lovely golden light hue which sparkles in the light. This would be a lovely project to be set into a stunning ring for pendant.

Condition: With only a fine patina of wear it is in lovely antique condition. As can be seen there are a few minor nibbles to the edges.
