Antique Enamel Mourning Ring in 9 Carat Rose Gold; Circa 1902

A remarkable ring, of which we haven't quite seen one before quite like it! Dating to 1902 this mounting ring is amazing. 

Created from 9 carat rose gold and weight over 9 grams it has serious presence on the hand. With a rounded D-shape profile the outside of the ring has been engraved and enamelled in black with the motto 'In Memory Of'. In using the more sort able gothic style font it echos back to the centuries of mourning jewellery that has come before it!

A fabulous antique sentimental ring, it is as mesmerising today as it would have been over 125 years ago!
