A charming and symbolic Edwardian silver fob, dating to 1914, beautifully created in sterling silver and shaped as a classic shield. A fabulous sentimental piece.
At its heart sits a horseshoe, a universal emblem of good fortune and protection, engraved with the words “Good Luck.” Above, a darling horse and rider gallop as part of the loop, with so much detail.
This wonderful token would once have been worn on a gentleman’s watch chain, carrying with it the hope of safe journeys and bright futures. A sentimental and collectable piece of Edwardian history, full of charm and symbolism.
