Antique Opal Ring in 9 Carat Gold; Circa 1900

A beautiful antique ring created in warm 9 carat yellow gold and set with a substantial oval cabochon opal. The opal displays a soft, glowing presence on the hand, its smooth domed surface catching the light with gentle flashes of colour.

What truly sets this ring apart is its remarkable setting: the opal is held within an intricate multiple claw mount, with over thirty fine claws encircling the stone.
